Ohio School Plan Best Practice Award
The Ohio School Plan has created a Best Practices Award program to gather and share Best Practices in the area of Risk management with its members. In addition to the compilation of a Best Practices Library, OSP will recognize the member submitting the “Best Practice” with an Award consisting of a plaque, a donation of $250.00 to the member’s scholarship fund, recognition on this site and in the OSP Voice E-Newsletter.
To participate submit your Best Practices:
1. By mail, email or fax; and
2. In narrative form with appropriate attachments; and
3. Include a definition of how the Best Practice applies to Risk Management and benefit your district/entity.
All entries will be reviewed by Ohio School Plan Best Practices team and one entry will be selected each quarter.
The goal of risk management should be threefold:
1. To create a safe school environment;
2. To prevent catastrophic financial losses;
3. To provide budgetary stability.
The Hylant Administrative Services Risk Management Department is available to assist your public school in identifying existing or potential liability, property, and fleet exposures. Our mutual goal is to provide a safe environment, minimize losses and in the case of liability claims, have your school in the most defensible position possible.
When making your submission you can either email us a document or fill in all fields at the below form. If you wish to submit details pertaining to the best practice in the form of a document, please click on the link email below and attach your document to the email.
